Here’s a step-by-step guide to integrating Tidycal as a live customer support channel using Bit Assist:

Setup a Channel

  1. To add Tidycal to your website using Bit Assist, first create a new widget or edit an existing one. If you already have a widget, simply click on the Edit option to integrate Tidycal into it.
  1. Click on add channel to add the support assistant of your choice.
  1. Search for and select your preferred channel from the available options in the channel popup.
  1. Channel Title: Set an appropriate Channel Title, which by default is “Tidycal.” This title serves as descriptive text to inform visitors about the channel.
  1. You can also upload and set a custom image to personalize your widget’s appearance.
  1. Add Your TidyCal Booking Link: To integrate TidyCal with Bit Assist, you’ll need your TidyCal booking link. Log in to your TidyCal account, where you’ll find a list of your existing bookings along with their unique links. If you haven’t created a booking yet, make sure to set one up first to generate your booking link.
  1. On click open channel on: This setting allows you to choose how the TidyCal booking link opens when a user clicks on it. You can select from three options: New Tab, Current Tab, or New Window. By default, New Tab is selected to ensure a seamless user experience without disrupting the current page.
  1. Hide after office hours: With this Hide after office hours feature of Widget Options, You can organize your office time by enabling the Hide after office hours option. You have to upgrade to pro to use the feature.
  1. Channel show on: With this Channel show on feature of Widget Options, you can now afford to hide or show channels on mobile and desktops as of your choice.
  1. Save: Now save the channel by clicking the Save button. Then you will see a successful channel-created message.
