Intellectual Property Rights

All content related to Bit Assist, including the plugin, text, graphics, and logos, is owned by Bit Apps. You are not allowed to use them without permission. However, the Bit Assist plugin is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2.0. This means you can copy, modify, and share the software, as long as any changes or new versions are also licensed under GPL-2.0 and the source code is made available.

License to Use Bit Assist 

When you buy Bit Assist, we give you a license to use the plugin, which is non-exclusive and non-transferable, based on these Terms and Conditions.

Plugin Ownership

All plugins, including Bit Assist, are created and managed by Bit Apps. You are not allowed to claim any ownership rights over our products. 

The plugin is provided "as is" without any warranties, either expressed or implied. Bit Assist is not responsible for any damages, including direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential losses, that may happen from using or being unable to use the plugin.

Purchases and Payments

Payment Gateway:

To ensure safe online payments, Bit Assist uses Paddle.com, a worldwide payment and checkout service.

Accepted Payment Methods:

We support many convenient payment methods, including:

• Credit and Debit Cards: Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, UnionPay, Mada.
• PayPal: For secure online payments.
• Alipay: Available in Early Access for customers in China.
• iDEAL: In Early Access for customers in the Netherlands.
• Digital Wallets: Google Pay (on Chrome browser), Apple Pay (on HTTPS pages on Safari).
• Wire Transfers: ACH/SEPA/BACS for transactions over $100*.

Transaction Security:

We keep your payment safe by using strong security and encryption to protect your personal and financial details.

Payment Processing:

After you complete your purchase, we’ll send you a confirmation email with your order details. Please make sure your information is correct to avoid any delays or problems.

Pricing and Taxes

Prices are listed in USD on our website. When users proceed to purchase the Bit Assist plugin paddle will handle the rest. Here the prices will be displayed in their local currency. Applicable taxes are calculated based on the user's location at the time of purchase.

Compliance and Verification:
We comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to online payments. Transactions are subject to validation and authorization by both the card issuer and Paddle.com to maintain security and prevent fraud.

Changes of Price

Bit Apps reserves the right to update, change, cancel, or upgrade any plugin subscription or license key at any time without prior notice or approval. The prices of all products may also change at any time without prior notice or consent.

Refund Policy

Bit Assist comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you’re not happy with your purchase, you can request a refund within 14 days from the purchase date, following our refund policy rules.

After renewal, the refund policy will not be applicable. 

Renew Policy

Many users choose to enable automatic renewal for their recurring plans so they don’t have to worry about remembering to renew manually. If a subscription isn’t renewed, users may miss out on important updates, including new features, bug fixes, and security improvements -all of which are essential for keeping their websites safe and running smoothly.

At Bit Apps, we handle subscriptions through Paddle, which automatically charges recurring payments on an annual basis. If a user wants to pause their recurring payment for any reason, they can simply reach out to our support team, and we’ll make sure the payment option is paused for them.

Price Changes

Bit Assist reserves the right to change the pricing of Bit Assist at any time. This includes:

• Notice of Changes: While we try to inform users ahead of any price changes, we may adjust prices without prior notice.
• Effective Date: Any price changes take effect immediately, either when updated on our website or at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions and Renewals: New pricing may apply when a subscription is renewed. However, current subscribers will continue to pay their original subscription price, so they are not affected by increases. We will notify existing subscribers in advance if there are any changes to their renewal terms.
• Commitment to Affordability: We aim to maintain competitive and fair pricing for Bit Assist.
• Refusal of Purchase: If users do not agree with the new prices, they have the option to stop using Bit Assist or not make a purchase.

User Conduct

As a Bit Assist user, you are expected to maintain high standards of behavior, which include:

• Legal Use: Only use Bit Assist for legal activities and follow all relevant laws and rules.
• No Unauthorized Actions: Activities like spreading viruses, engaging in illegal actions, violating intellectual property rights, or trying to access the plugin or website without permission are prohibited.
• Respect Intellectual Property: Do not share or sell Bit Assist without approval.
• Protect Privacy and Data: Follow privacy laws when handling personal data with Bit Assist.
• Avoid Disrupting Website Functionality: Do not perform actions that could harm or interfere with the website or plugin's operations.

Limitation of Liability

Bit Apps is committed to offering high-quality plugins, including Bit Assist. However, in line with legal standards and industry practices, we limit our responsibility. 

Bit Apps has the right to change, pause, or stop Bit Assist or any part of its services at any time, for any reason, with or without prior notice. Bit Assist is not responsible for any damages, losses, or consequences that may occur due to these changes, suspensions, or discontinuations.

Please be aware that some regions may not allow limits on implied warranties or liability for certain types of damage, so these limits may not apply to you.

Amendments to Terms and Conditions

We have the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. By continuing to use Bit Assist after any changes, you agree to the updated Terms and Conditions.

Affiliate Terms

Bit Apps offers an affiliate program, including for Bit Assist , under the following terms:

• Eligibility: Affiliates must be 18 years or older, with an active website, blog, or social media presence relevant to WordPress or web development.
• Application and Approval: Affiliates must apply through our website. We reserve the right to accept or reject any application.
• Commission Structure: Affiliates earn a 30% commission on sales generated through their referral link.
• Promotion and Conduct: Affiliates must promote Bit Assist professionally and ethically. Misleading or unethical advertising is prohibited.
• Payment: Commissions are paid out monthly/quarterly, provided the affiliate meets the minimum payment threshold.
• Termination: Either party can terminate the affiliate relationship at any time. Upon termination, the affiliate must remove all promotional materials related to Bit Assist.
• Modification of Terms: We reserve the right to modify these Affiliate Program Terms. Continued participation following changes indicates acceptance of the new terms.

Lifetime License

For Bit Assist , the following terms apply to Lifetime Licenses:

• Duration of License: The 'lifetime' refers to the lifespan of the product, not the user. The license remains valid as long as Bit Assist is actively maintained and offered by Bit Apps.
• No Recurring Fees: Lifetime license holders will not be required to pay additional fees for Bit Assist, including updates and support.
• Scope of License: The license is valid for the specified number of sites at the time of purchase. It is non-transferable and cannot be resold.
• Discontinuation: If Bit Assist is discontinued, lifetime license holders will be notified. However, after discontinuation, updates and support will no longer be provided.
• Change of Terms: Bit Apps reserves the right to modify the terms of the Lifetime License. Any changes will be communicated to existing license holders.
• Refund Policy: The lifetime license is subject to our standard refund policy.

Support Policy

Eligibility for Support:

• Customers with Active Accounts: Support is available to customers with an active account and subscription to Bit Assist.
• During Subscription Period: Support is provided throughout the active subscription or warranty period. Access to support ceases upon expiration or cancellation of your subscription or warranty.
• Compliance with Terms of Use: Support is contingent upon compliance with our Terms of Use.

Exclusions from Support:

• Expired Subscriptions: Users with expired or canceled subscriptions are not eligible for support.
• Non-Compliance Issues: Issues arising from non-compliance with our usage guidelines or unauthorized modifications are not covered.
• Third-Party Services or Products: Issues related to third-party services or products that integrate with Bit Assist are not covered.
• Beta or Trial Services: Support for beta or trial versions of Bit Assist is limited and provided at our discretion.

Telemetry Data

Bit Assist optionally uses WP-Telemetry (upon your approval) to collect basic usage data, helping us improve your experience. No data is collected without explicit consent.
